This udon restaurant is an old institution and very down to earth. The udon was fabulous and some toppings (negi, daikon oroshi, shouga, and tenkasu) you put on yourself around the corner after paying at the register. The karaage was very juicy and not dry! (｡•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧

The store has a factory atmosphere, but there are various types of customers, such as those who are on-site and who want to eat slowly in the room.This is a local famous udon shop that is also well known in the Japanese movie.A lot of cars line alog the roadways during lunch time weekdays.The shop is like a udon factory and has some kinds of guests; workes in a hurry and those who have slowly on the parlor.

久々に利用しました。中の開放的な雰囲気、鯉が泳いでいるのも変わらず、居心地が良いですね。うどんの麺も自分で茹がきますが、私は丼も十分温めますので熱々のかけうどんが食べれます。うどん(蕎麦もあります)は中太麺で1玉、2玉、3玉の３種類があり、1玉の麺の量が多いので、2玉だと結構なボリュームになります。麺を受け取った後、お会計の前後でテボを使って自分で茹がきます。出汁は大きなタンクからコックを捻って自分で注ぐタイプで熱々、あっさり目の出汁で最後まで飲み干せます。鶏天も他店だと140円くらいするとこもありますが、ここは120円でチョッピリ安く、値段からしても大きめの鶏天で旨いです。他にも天ぷらの種類が豊富ですが、鶏天の他にもお薦めは唐揚げ(1個70円)です。下味がしっかりしており、鶏モモ肉の旨味がよく出ていて結構旨いです。何時も家のお土産用に買って帰ります。ネギ、天カス、大根おろし、生姜等は自分で入れるスタイルです。朝早くから営業してるところも有難い!!
